(Terms & Conditions)

By placing an order with Archtools.co.uk, the client is assumed to have agreed to trade within the following terms and conditions:

Acceptance & price variations:

Quotations are valid for a maximum period of 30 days. Prices may be subject to change without notice after this.

Delivery:

Schedules of delivery are estimates only. We will use our best efforts to deliver at times stated but shall not be liable for any delays due to causes beyond our control. Goods shall be deemed to be delivered when handed to carriers. Returns at customers cost only.

Payment. 
Payment in full is due within fourteen days after date of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts daily pro-rata at 8% over National Westminster Bank base lending rate. A £10.00 fee will be added to all late accounts. We further reserve the right to use The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 on all late payments. Discounts:

Any discounts offered will be forfeit on late payment on invoices.

Title to Goods:

Risk in the goods passes to the client on delivery but legal title remains with us so long as any sum due to us on any account or grounds is unpaid. The client agrees that, in seeking to exercise our rights under this clause, we may at any reasonable time enter the client's premises and recover and remove our goods.

Copyright:


Copyright and all other intellectual property rights deriving from our work remains with us unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.

Cancellation:

We shall be entitled to suspend or cancel deliveries and/or work under any contract between the client and us if any payment due from the client is not made by its due date. Orders once placed by the client cannot be cancelled nor may products be returned for credit unless previously agreed in writing.

Force majeure:

We will be released from any liability to the client if performance of the contract is delayed or prevented by any cause whatsoever beyond our control.

Overseas order:

All overseas orders shall be paid for in full in advance of despatch.

Disputes:

English law shall determine any dispute arising under these terms and conditions.

 
Terms & Conditions

This guarantee, and the guarantee period, begins on the date of purchase as detailed on your invoice. If this product develops a fault return it to Archtools, stating details of the fault. You will receive a replacement or refund. When you return the product please give precise details of the fault requiring correction and your name and address must be submitted to validate the claim.
 
We do not refund carriage. All products should be in a suitably clean and safe state for repair, and should be packaged carefully to prevent damage or injury during transportation. We may reject unsuitable or unsafe deliveries.
 
The repair or replacement of the product will not extend, or renew the period of guarantee. Retained tools, or parts, for which a replacement has been issued, will become the property of Archtools. The repair or replacement of your product under this guarantee provides benefits which are additional to, and do not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer.
 
What is covered:

The repair or replacement of the product, once verified to the satisfaction of Archtools, that the defect is due to faulty materials or workmanship. If any product is no longer available or out of manufacture Archtools may replace it with a functional replacement..
What is not covered:
  • Normal wear and tear caused by use in accordance with the operating instructions.
  • Accidental damage, faults caused by: improper use, abnormal environmental conditions, overloading, insufficient maintenance, careless operation or handling of the product.
  • Use of the product for anything other than the purposes it was sold for.
  • Change or modification of the product in any way.
  • Defects caused by the use of parts or accessories, which are not normally part of the product.
  • Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than Archtools
  • Claims, other than the right to correction of faults with the product covered by these conditions.
  • Slight deviations from the specification that do not affect the functionality of the product.
