Each time a new roll of film is use on site, the first exposure should be of a card listing the site/context number, date and photographer. Each of these Photo Identifier Cards has a gray scale, a color scale and spaces for writing necessary case information. Submit the cards with the roll of film so the darkroom technician can match the gray scale and colors to produce a color-accurate photograph. Cards are sold in pads of 25.
